Our Dor Beetle Necklace, worn by Nicola Walker on BBC's 'The Split'
Entomology is the scientific study of insects, a branch of zoology. Alex has returned to his workbench to study and recreate his very own specimen cabinet of beautiful butterflies and brilliant beetles. You'll find intricate bugs transformed into glamorous statement pieces, enhanced with an array of semi-precious stones.
An archetype of it's kind, the Dor Beetle is distinctive, adaptable and sacred. Proudly stomping around fields and pharaohs alike.
The pendant measures approximately 1.3 cm in length and approximately 2.5 cm in height.
This necklace comes on an adjustable chain, which can be worn at either 16 or 18 inches.
The necklace is available in 22ct gold plate, black rhodium plate or sterling silver.
All Alex Monroe jewellery is handmade in the UK.
